Branding & Website for Mikey's Hope Disability Services
I recently was connected with Christina Muco, who works with people with disabilities in Michigan, in the USA. She expressed a desire to have a simple website to advertise her consulting services. The job was quick and clean— all she wanted was to be able to book clients and have a way of showing what her work was all about.
Branding
Our first priority was to get her started on social media, building a brand she could use to share her expertise and gain a following. Her love of alive branches and the meaning of peace and hope connected with them became our theme. Olive green and plum purple were choice colors, and we created some logos; this emerged as the favorite. I used Procreate to sketch out ideas, then proceeded to experiment on Photoshop as well as glean inspiration from Canva. I ended up using fonts from Canva (they are free with a pro subscription, and tend to be very design-friendly!) and drawing the olive branch design on Procreate separately. I merged them all in Adobe Illustrator to optimize the design and submitted it. She loved it!
Christina used the logo and the primary design colors to begin to educate and grow her audience! She now has a growing following on Instagram as @mhdisabilityservices, serving her clients as well as building rapport with the online community. This logo comes in many colors and designs for different purposes, but this is the primary one.
Website Design
Next on the agenda was building a website that accurately reflected her practice and story, and also gave people the opportunity to sign up for free consultations and more,
Below is a screenshot, but you can visit the entire website here!
It is very simple, as her budget was 3-5 hours of my work. This is a good representation of what I can do in five hours!
