Making

I don't know what to write here but I'm going to begin. I am choosing to begin even though I'm uncertain where it will go or if it will even matter in the long run.

Truthfully, there's a good chance these words won't change much in my life, and the fact that they are now out in the world may be of no consequence.

But maybe the making of these words means something
not because of the product you are reading
but because of the process it is to express them.

Sometimes, you just have to begin. And use scratch paper or a bag
or an empty cup of coffee
or a used cigarette.

Nothing is meaningless, really, if you think about it.
